Investment Manager

 

KKR Australia Investment Management Pty Limited (“KKR IM”) is the manager of the Trust. KKR IM is a proprietary limited company incorporated in Australia and an affiliate of KKR.

Investment Team 

Chris Sheldon - Co-Portfolio Manager

Chris Sheldon (who is based in San Francisco) joined KKR in 2004 and is a Member of KKR. Mr. Sheldon serves as the Head of traded credit. Mr. Sheldon is a portfolio manager for KKR’s traded credit and private credit funds and portfolios and a member of the U.S. Traded Credit Investment Committee, Global Private Credit Investment Committee and KKR Credit Portfolio Management Committee. Prior to joining KKR,

Mr. Sheldon was a vice president and senior investment analyst with Wells Fargo’s high yield securities group. Previously, Mr. Sheldon worked at Young & Rubicam Advertising and SFM Media Corporation in their media-planning departments. Mr. Sheldon holds a B.A. from Denison University. Mr. Sheldon serves as a member of the board of directors of SquashDrive, a member of the National Urban Squash and Education Association. Mr. Sheldon also serves as a member of the board of directors of the LSTA.

Jeremiah Lane - Co-Portfolio Manager

Jeremiah S. Lane (who is based in San Francisco) joined KKR in 2005 and is a Member of KKR. Mr. Lane is a portfolio manager for our leveraged credit funds and portfolios and member of the US Leveraged Credit Investment Committee and KKR Credit Portfolio Management Committee. Prior to joining, Mr. Lane worked as an Associate in the Investment Banking/Technology, Media and Telecom Group at J.P. Morgan Chase. Mr. Lane holds an A.B. with honours in History from Harvard University.

Richard Schoenfeld - Co-Portfolio Manager

Richard Schoenfeld (San Francisco) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Managing Director within the firm’s Credit business. Mr. Schoenfeld is a portfolio manager for KKR's leveraged credit funds and portfolios and a member of the US Leveraged Credit Investment Committee and Credit Portfolio Management Committee. Mr. Schoenfeld previously worked in the KKR Hedge Funds business. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Schoenfeld was with J.P. Morgan in its leveraged finance group. Mr. Schoenfeld holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.

James Newman - Co-Portfolio Manager

James L. Newman (London) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Managing Director within the firm’s Credit business. Mr. Newman is Global Head of Trading, a portfolio manager for KKR’s leveraged credit funds and portfolios and a member of the US and European Leveraged Credit Investment Committees and Credit Portfolio Management Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Newman was at JP Morgan for twelve years where he worked in the markets division. Mr. Newman began his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He received a BSc Honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath.

Ian Anderson - Key Business Head; Investment Committee Member 

Ian Anderson (London) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Managing Director in the Credit business. He serves as a portfolio manager for the firm’s private credit funds and portfolios and as a member of the European Private Credit Investment Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Anderson was a vice president at Lazard in the corporate finance department, advising a diverse range of European and global corporate clients on M&A transactions and restructurings. Previously, Mr. Anderson worked at Key Capital, an Irish boutique capital markets and asset management firm. Mr. Anderson holds a first class degree in Engineering from Dublin University, Trinity College and is a CFA Charterholder.
